The Board of Purposed4Leadership includes seasoned servant-leaders who have a heart to see the transformation of our world, including in the areas of Government and Business.

Purposed4Leadership is supported by a team of certified coaches who help deliver one-to-one coaching, and we have a network of associates who deliver our training programmes and consultancy services.  Our aim is to provide support, accountability and encouragement to help you to grow as a purposed leader so you can lead the way in bringing a new paradigm for business and government, that is one that cares about the triple-bottom-line of People, Planet and Profit.

Our goal is three-fold:

  1. To help equip those who are purposed  for leadership
  2. To identify leaders amongst all groups within society, especially amongst the marginalised youth who often get over-looked by society as future leaders and
  3. Help companies develop a culture, that reflects the triple-bottom-line

More and more there is a need for a different kind of leadership, leaders of character who stand out.  Those who are authentic and show up with all of who they were created to be.

In 2013 a Forbes magazine article spoke of the Crisis of Leadership, in 2015 the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Survey found 86% of respondents agreed that there is a leadership crisis in the world today, and now in 2017 a Huffington post article spoke of the ‘Global Crisis of Leadership’ stating:

“Yes, leaders are a reflection of their time, and people the world over might have finally reached the breaking point.

Their cry for trusting, caring, and bold leadership echoes everywhere. We can only hope that such leaders will hear the people’s outcry and emerge to answer their desperate call.”

So the world needs character-based leaders, they are crying out for such.  As a lover of Jesus I believe now is the time for men and women of faith to step up  and show the love and wisdom of Jesus in their leadership.  It’s time to lead like Jesus for:

The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God.

So what does it take to be a purposed leader?

It starts by recognising you were not an accident – instead, you were “uniquely and wonderfully made”, no matter the circumstances surrounding your birth.  It starts by leaning into who you were created to be by understanding  your Passion, Personality Purpose and Principles

Foundations of Leadership Model. KCCL FINAL

I have walked the road of trying to ‘fake it till you make it’ – trying to hide the real me in order to gain acceptance but instead felt isolated, unworthy and frankly invisible. For me that led to depression, where I felt I had nothing to get up for because my dreams seem crushed.  yet deep inside I knew I was created for more.  I learned that I was Purposed for Leadership and if you are still here on this site I believe you are too.

My journey led me to understand that leadership is not just a ‘technical sport’ but that there is a spiritual element that makes all the difference.  I found Jesus, but whether you have, or you haven’t or don’t ever it matters not – at Purposed4Leadership we share timeless principles that will help you become a Purposed Leader who can authentically lead with a focus on the triple-bottom-line (People, Planet and Profit).

If you want to hear more about my leadership journey then take a look at my book, The Invisible Leader – Stepping Up, Stepping Out.  10% of the profits of my book go to P4L so we can deliver Character-based Leadership programmes to communities.
